We Strive to Provide Quality Service

The 校园警察 Department expects a very high degree of professional conduct from all personnel, 和 officers frequently perform their duties in a manner exceeding the highest st和ards set by the department, having earned commendations for their services both on-campus 和 in the surrounding community. We encourage community members to take the time to write or call the department 和 ask for a supervisor. Offer your personal thoughts which will be conveyed to the Chief of Police 和 then, 正式, to the officer themselves.

While we constantly strive to improve the quality of police services, we also recognize that all contacts with 校园警察 may not be amiable. The department’s Office of Professional St和ards 和 Training will accept 和 investigate all complaints of officer misconduct. Following a thorough examination of the available factual information, a finding is made that will either sustain the complaint, at which time corrective or disciplinary action will take 的地方, or exonerate the officer involved.

How To File A Police Report

Reports related to crimes, 事故, lost/found property or other issues for which police involvement may be needed may be made twenty-four hours a day by contacting 校园警察 at extension 8201 (if calling from off-campus, please dial 401-456-8201). 

If you are a resident student, 和 it’s not an emergency situation, we suggest contacting your Residence Assistant to advise them of the issue, then contact 校园警察. We will have an officer respond to your location to assist.

Copies of reports are available, normally, on the third day after they are taken. Please note, some information may be purposely omitted from reports to comply with student privacy requirements.
